Applied Biosafety

Applied Biosafety is the quarterly journal of the American Biological Safety Association, known as ABSA International, and SAGE publishes it on the association's behalf for the staff who run laboratories and containment suites rather than for the sciences those suites serve.《应用生物安全》（Applied Biosafety）是美国生物安全协会（ABSA International）的季刊，由 SAGE 代表协会出版，读者是管理实验室与防护设施的人，并非这些设施所服务的学科本身。

The present title dates from 2001, when it took volume 6 in continuation of the society's earlier Journal of the American Biological Safety Association, and its 2025 Journal Impact Factor is 1.9, Q3 at 260 of 443 in Public, Environmental and Occupational Health.现名始于 2001 年，当年接第 6 卷续编，卷号承自协会早年的《Journal of the American Biological Safety Association》，2025 年影响因子 1.9，在公共、环境与职业卫生类目列 Q3，排名 260/443。

Scope

• The remit is applied biosafety and biosecurity as practised in laboratories, animal facilities and high-containment suites, and submissions are judged by whether a facility can put them to work.范围为实验室、动物设施与高等级防护区里实际操作的生物安全与生物安保，稿件的取舍标准是设施能否拿去使用。
• Biorisk management carries the largest single strand, running from risk assessment methods and control hierarchies to performance indicators and audits against ISO 35001.生物风险管理是最大的一条主线，内容从风险评估方法与控制层级，到绩效指标，再到按 ISO 35001 做的体系审核。

History

• The society issued its own Journal of the American Biological Safety Association from 1996, and five volumes had appeared when the title was renamed Applied Biosafety for volume 6 in 2001.协会自 1996 年起自办《Journal of the American Biological Safety Association》，出满 5 卷之后，2001 年改称《Applied Biosafety》，卷号从第 6 卷续起。

Editors
