History

• Antibiotics was launched by MDPI in 2012 as an open access journal dedicated to antibiotic research.（Antibiotics）由（MDPI）于 2012 年创办，是专注抗生素研究的开放获取期刊。
• Its founding editor-in-chief was Christopher C. Butler of Cardiff University, who wrote the opening editorial.其创刊主编为卡迪夫大学的 Christopher C. Butler，创刊社论由他撰写。
• The journal was accepted into the Science Citation Index Expanded in January 2019, alongside several other MDPI titles.本刊于 2019 年 1 月与（MDPI）其他数种期刊一道被（Science Citation Index Expanded）收录。
