Animal Nutrition is an open access peer-reviewed journal published by KeAi Publishing in collaboration with the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine since 2015 under the ISSN 2405-6383 and eISSN 2405-6545, covering animal nutrition with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 8.3 and first quartile ranks of 2 of 87 in agriculture dairy and animal science and 2 of 170 in veterinary sciences in the Science Citation Index Expanded《动物营养》（Animal Nutrition）是（KeAi Publishing）联合中国畜牧兽医学会自 2015 年起出版的开放获取同行评审期刊，刊号 2405-6383、电子刊号 2405-6545，覆盖动物营养学，2025 年影响因子为 8.3，在（SCIE）农业、乳业与动物科学类 87 种期刊中列第 2 位、在兽医学类 170 种期刊中列第 2 位，均居第一四分位。

Scope

• The journal publishes original research, reviews and perspectives on animal nutrition, including feed science, nutritional physiology, metabolism, feed additives, precision feeding and nutrition-environment interactions该刊刊载动物营养学领域的原创研究、综述与观点，涉及饲料科学、营养生理学、代谢、饲料添加剂、精准饲喂与营养-环境互作等方向。
• It gives particular attention to nutrition of livestock, poultry, aquaculture species and companion animals, and it welcomes interdisciplinary work linking nutrition with genetics, immunology and animal health该刊特别关注畜禽、水产养殖品种与伴侣动物的营养，并欢迎营养与遗传学、免疫学及动物健康交叉的研究。
• Article types include research articles, reviews, short communications, case reports and perspectives, and the journal operates a continuous publication model with articles assigned to a single annual volume文章类型包括研究论文、综述、短通讯、病例报告与观点，该刊采用连续出版模式，文章归入单一年度卷。
• As an open access journal it applies a Creative Commons attribution licence to accepted articles and levies an article processing charge on the corresponding author, with waivers available for qualifying authors作为开放获取期刊，该刊对录用文章采用知识共享署名许可，向通讯作者收取文章处理费，并对符合条件的作者提供减免。

History

• The journal was launched in 2015 by KeAi Publishing in partnership with the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, as the official English-language journal of the association nutrition division该刊于 2015 年由（KeAi Publishing）联合中国畜牧兽医学会创办，作为该学会营养分会的官方英文期刊。
• It was conceived to provide an international venue for animal nutrition research from China and the global community, and its founding editorial board drew members from animal science colleges and veterinary research institutes worldwide该刊定位为发表来自中国与国际同行动物营养研究成果的国际平台，首届编委来自世界各地动物科学学院与兽医研究机构。
• From its first year the journal operated as a gold open access title with a Creative Commons licence, and it has retained the continuous publication model since launch自创刊起该刊即为金色开放获取期刊，采用知识共享许可，并一直沿用连续出版模式。
• The Journal Impact Factor moved from 6.383 in 2021 to 5.285 in 2022, then to 7.5 in 2024 and 8.3 in 2025, maintaining first quartile standing in both agriculture dairy and animal science and veterinary sciences该刊影响因子由 2021 年的 6.383 降至 2022 年的 5.285，再升至 2024 年的 7.5 与 2025 年的 8.3，始终居农业、乳业与动物科学及兽医学两类第一四分位。
