History

• The journal first appeared in 2007 and represents the merger of three earlier titles该刊于 2007 年首次问世，由三本早期期刊合并而成。
• Those titles were Animal Science, Animal Research and Reproduction, Nutrition, Development这三本期刊分别是《动物科学》《动物研究》与《繁殖、营养、发育》。
• It is published by a consortium of the British Society of Animal Science, the European Federation of Animal Science and INRAE该刊由英国动物科学学会、欧洲动物科学联合会与 INRAE 组成的联盟出版。
• It became a gold open access journal on 1 January 2021 and is published online only该刊于 2021 年 1 月 1 日转为金色开放获取，仅在线出版。
