Scope

• Perioperative big data and artificial intelligence covers information management, database research, machine learning and the major applied fields of AI in the operating theatre围术期大数据与人工智能板块覆盖信息管理、数据库研究、机器学习，以及人工智能在手术室的主要应用领域。
• Anaesthetic mechanism and precision anaesthesia brings in drug action, drug disposition, basic pharmaceutical research on anaesthetics, precision delivery and novel anaesthetic tools麻醉机制与精准麻醉板块涉及药物作用、药物处置、麻醉药基础药学、精准给药与新型麻醉工具。
• The classical territory of the specialty is retained in full, including pain medicine, critical care, monitoring, equipment and engineering technology, education and perianaesthesia nursing传统麻醉学领域被完整保留，包括疼痛医学、重症监护、监测、设备与工程技术、教育以及围麻醉期护理。
• Preclinical and clinical pharmacology, Chinese medicine therapeutics, and ambulatory, cardiothoracic, obstetric, paediatric, geriatric and regional anaesthesia each have a place in the scope临床前与临床药理学、中药治疗学，以及日间、心血管胸科、产科、儿科、老年与区域麻醉均在收稿范围之内。
• Accepted formats run from clinical investigation, basic and translational research and reviews to case reports, big-data analyses, systematic reviews and meta-analyses接受的文章类型从临床研究、基础与转化研究、综述，延伸到病例报告、大数据分析、系统评价与荟萃分析。

History

• The journal was launched in March 2023, with the first paper live on 9 March, after the society and Springer Nature signed a publishing agreement in June 2022该刊于 2023 年 3 月创刊，首篇论文 3 月 9 日上线，此前学会与（Springer Nature）于 2022 年 6 月签署出版协议。^[1]
• It is sponsored by the Tianfu Society of Anesthesiology, which covers the cost of publication, so authors pay no article processing charge该刊由天府麻醉学会主办并承担出版费用，作者无需支付文章处理费。
• Publication is fully electronic, and the online version carries enhanced material intended to shorten the lag between acceptance and dissemination刊物以纯电子方式出版，网络版配有增强内容，以缩短录用与传播之间的时滞。
• Peer review is single blind, and the journal is indexed in DOAJ, Scopus, the Emerging Sources Citation Index and Chemical Abstracts Service期刊采用单盲同行评议，已被（DOAJ）、（Scopus）、（Emerging Sources Citation Index）与（Chemical Abstracts Service）收录。

Editors

• The editor-in-chief is Jin Liu of West China Hospital, Sichuan University, a professor of anaesthesiology and long-standing head of its department主编为（Jin Liu），任职于四川大学华西医院，为麻醉学教授并长期主持该院麻醉科工作。
• Daqing Ma of Imperial College London shares the editorship, and is a fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and a member of Academia Europaea共同主编（Daqing Ma）任职于（Imperial College London），为英国皇家麻醉学院院士与欧洲科学院院士。
• A third inaugural editor, Zhongcong Xie of Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, brought expertise in anaesthesia neurotoxicity and cognitive outcomes创刊阶段的第三位主编（Zhongcong Xie）任职于（Massachusetts General Hospital）与（Harvard Medical School），专长为麻醉神经毒性与认知结局。
