Amman Arab University (Arabic: جامعة عمان العربية), abbreviated AAU, is a private non-profit university on Jordan Street in the Mobus district of Amman, Jordan, founded in 1997 as an institution devoted entirely to graduate studies.安曼阿拉伯大学（阿拉伯语：جامعة عمان العربية，缩写 AAU）是约旦安曼穆布斯区约旦街的一所私立非营利大学，1997 年创办时专攻研究生教育。

History

• The university was founded in 1997 by a group of academics, professionals and business figures who wanted a private institution comparable to distinguished universities in developed countries, and who included academics and business people interested in university education.该校于 1997 年由一批学者、专业人士与商界人士创办，他们希望建立一所可与发达国家名校比肩的私立学府，其中既有学者也有热心大学教育的商界人士。
