Al-Quds University

Al-Quds University is a public university in the Jerusalem Governorate of Palestine whose main campus stands in the town of Abu Dis on the eastern approaches to Jerusalem, with further teaching sites in the Old City, Sheikh Jarrah, Beit Hanina, Ramallah and Hebron.圣城大学是巴勒斯坦耶路撒冷省的一所公立大学，主校区位于耶路撒冷东郊的阿布迪斯镇，另在老城、谢赫贾拉赫、拜特哈宁、拉姆安拉与希伯仑设有办学点。

Its Arabic name جامعة القدس translates literally as Jerusalem University, and the institution dates its foundation to 1984, when a group of independent colleges inside and around the city began the process of merging.其阿拉伯语校名 جامعة القدس 直译为「耶路撒冷大学」，本校把创办之年定在 1984 年，即城内与城郊一批独立学院开始合并之时。

History
