Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) is a private university in Amman, Jordan, founded in 1990 as the first private university in the country and the first Arab private university in the Middle East.阿尔阿里亚安曼大学（简称 AAU）是约旦安曼的一所私立大学，1990 年创办，为约旦首所私立大学，也是中东地区首所阿拉伯私立大学。

History

• Al-Ahliyya Amman University was founded in 1990 by Dr. Ahmad Al-Hourani as Jordan's first private university, opening at first with faculties of Law, Arts and Sciences and remaining the pioneer of private higher education in the kingdom.阿尔阿里亚安曼大学由艾哈迈德·胡拉尼博士于 1990 年创办，是约旦首所私立大学，建校之初设法学院、文理学院，始终是王国私立高等教育的先行者。
