Akdeniz University (Turkish: Akdeniz Üniversitesi, literally "Mediterranean University") is a public research university on Turkey's south coast, founded in Antalya on 20 July 1982 under the higher-education reorganisation law numbered 2809.阿克德尼兹大学（土耳其语：Akdeniz Üniversitesi，字面意为「地中海大学」）是土耳其南海岸安塔利亚的一所公立研究型大学，1982 年 7 月 20 日依据第 2809 号高等教育重组法成立。

History

• Higher medical education in Antalya predates the university by nine years: the Antalya Faculty of Medicine was established in 1973 and taught its students within the medical faculty of Ankara University until 1977.安塔利亚的高等医学教育比大学本身早九年：安塔利亚医学院于 1973 年设立，1977 年之前其学生一直在安卡拉大学医学院内就读。
