Ain Shams University

Ain Shams University is a public university in Cairo, Egypt, and the third-oldest non-sectarian public university in the country, after Cairo University, formerly Fuad I University, and Alexandria University, formerly Farouk I University.艾因夏姆斯大学是埃及开罗的一所公立大学，仅次于开罗大学（旧称福阿德一世大学）与亚历山大大学（旧称法鲁克一世大学），是埃及历史第三悠久的非宗教性公立大学。

History

• Ain Shams University was established when Law No. 93 of 1950 was issued, a project adopted by Taha Hussein, then Minister of Education, in memory of Ibrahim Pasha, the Egyptian commander and son of Muhammad Ali, the founder of modern Egypt.艾因夏姆斯大学依 1950 年颁布的第 93 号法律设立，这一计划由时任教育部长塔哈·侯赛因推动，以纪念埃及统帅、现代埃及奠基者穆罕默德·阿里的儿子易卜拉欣帕夏。
