AI Communications

AI Communications is a journal of artificial intelligence published for more than three decades, which in 2025 passed from the IOS Press in Amsterdam to SAGE Publications.《人工智能通讯》是一份已出版三十余年的人工智能期刊，2025 年由阿姆斯特丹的 IOS Press 转由 SAGE Publications 出版。

Its first numbered volume appeared in 1988, it has been a quarterly for most of its life, and its 2025 impact factor is 1.3.它的首个编号卷刊于 1988 年，在其大部分历史中为季刊，2025 年的影响因子为 1.3。

Scope

• The journal addresses artificial intelligence in the broad sense, and the papers it prints address the theories, the methods and the applications of the field.该刊以广义的人工智能为对象，所载论文涉及这一学科的理论、方法与应用。

• Knowledge representation and reasoning occupy a long-standing place in it, and an issue in 2011 was given wholly to answer set programming.知识表示与推理在其间占有长久的位置，2011 年有一期整个交给了答案集程序设计。

History

• Numbered volume 1 appeared in 1988, and before it there was a volume 0 in 1987 that carried the first editorial of the title.编号第 1 卷出现在 1988 年，在此之前还有 1987 年的第 0 卷，刊有该刊最早的社论。

• From that first volume the numbering has run without a break, reaching volume 28 in 2015, volume 33 in 2020 and volume 37 in 2024.自首卷起卷号未曾中断，2015 年出至第 28 卷，2020 年为第 33 卷，2024 年为第 37 卷。

• The early volumes came out four times a year, and the sequence of issues is preserved in the archive of the publisher that took the journal over.早期各卷每年出四期，这套期号序列保存在接手工刊的出版方的档案之中。

Editors

• The journal was founded by Bob Wielinga and Luc Steels, who signed the editorial in the volume of 1987 and again in the three issues of the first volume of 1988.该刊由（Bob Wielinga）与（Luc Steels）创办，1987 年那一卷的社论由两人署名，1988 年首卷的三期社论同样出自他们之手。^[1]
