AI is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal publishing original research and reviews across the whole field of artificial intelligence, from machine and deep learning to intelligent robotics and AI applications, and has been published by MDPI AG of Basel, Switzerland, since 2020, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 6.5.《AI》是一本国际性同行评审开放获取期刊，刊发机器学习与深度学习、智能机器人及人工智能应用等全领域的原创研究与综述，2020 年起由瑞士巴塞尔的 MDPI AG 出版，2025 年影响因子为 6.5。

Scope

• Coverage spans the core technical foundations of AI, including machine and deep learning, data science, reinforcement learning, data mining, knowledge discovery and reasoning, and neural networks.覆盖人工智能的核心技术基础，包括机器学习与深度学习、数据科学、强化学习、数据挖掘、知识发现与知识推理以及神经网络。

History

• The journal was launched by MDPI AG in 2020, and its inaugural issue (Volume 1, Issue 1) appeared in March 2020 as a quarterly publication.本刊由 MDPI AG 于 2020 年创办，创刊号（第 1 卷第 1 期）于 2020 年 3 月出版，初期为季刊。
• Professor Kenji Suzuki of Tokyo Institute of Technology (now Institute of Science Tokyo) has served as Editor-in-Chief since 2020 and outlined the journal's mission in the inaugural editorial.日本东京工业大学（Tokyo Institute of Technology，今东京科学大学）的 Kenji Suzuki 教授自 2020 年起担任主编，并在创刊社论中阐述了办刊宗旨。^[1]
• In 2023 the journal was indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index of Web of Science and in Scopus, in both cases starting from Volume 1, Issue 1.2023 年，本刊自第 1 卷第 1 期起被 Web of Science 的 ESCI 数据库与 Scopus 收录。
