Agriculture Communications

Agriculture Communications is a quarterly gold open access journal founded in 2023 by the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences in cooperation with Elsevier, covering emerging findings across agricultural sciences, co-edited by academicians Kongming Wu and Chenggui Li, with a first Journal Impact Factor of 11.9 in 2025（Agriculture Communications）（《农业通讯》）是北京市农林科学院与（Elsevier）合作于 2023 年创办的季刊金色开放获取期刊，覆盖农业科学各领域的新兴发现，共同主编为吴孔明院士与李成贵研究员，2025 年获得首个影响因子 11.9。

Scope

• It covers all basic and applied research dealing with agriculture science该刊覆盖农业科学的基础与应用研究。
• It considers research integrating various disciplines within crop science, horticultural science and plant protection其考虑作物科学、园艺科学与植物保护领域内多学科整合的研究。
• It also covers animal science and veterinary medicine, and aquaculture and fisheries science其亦覆盖畜牧兽医以及水产学。
• It addresses smart agriculture, food science and technology, and agricultural resources and environment其关注智慧农业、食品科学技术，以及农业资源与环境。
• It further covers agricultural economics and development其还覆盖农业经济与发展。
• Papers on important methodological developments relevant for agriculture are also considered与农业相关的重要方法学进展论文亦在收录之列。

History

• It was founded in 2023 by the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences as a quarterly open access journal该刊由北京市农林科学院于 2023 年创办，为季刊开放获取期刊。
• It is published in cooperation with Elsevier on the ScienceDirect platform该刊与（Elsevier）合作在（ScienceDirect）平台出版。
• It was indexed in DOAJ in March 2024 and in Scopus in October 2024该刊于 2024 年 3 月被（DOAJ）收录，2024 年 10 月被（Scopus）收录。
• It entered ESCI in June 2025该刊于 2025 年 6 月进入（ESCI）。
• It received its first Journal Impact Factor of 11.9 in the 2025 Journal Citation Reports, ranking second worldwide in the agriculture multidisciplinary category该刊在 2025 年《期刊引证报告》中获得首个影响因子 11.9，在农业综合学科类别位居世界第二。

Editors

• Its co-editors-in-chief are Kongming Wu, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and president of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Chenggui Li of the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences其共同主编为中国工程院院士、中国农业科学院院长吴孔明与北京市农林科学院李成贵。
• Its associate editors include five Chinese academicians and four foreign academicians其副主编包括 5 位国内院士与 4 位国外院士。
• More than sixty percent of its seventy-plus editorial board members are internationally renowned scholars其 70 余名编委中 60% 以上为国际知名学者。
• Its editorial office is hosted by the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences其编辑部由北京市农林科学院承办。
