Aggregate

Aggregate is a peer-reviewed, fully open access journal published by Wiley and co-published with South China University of Technology and the AIE Institute, launched in December 2020 as the first journal devoted to aggregate science, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 14.5（Aggregate）是由（Wiley）出版、与（South China University of Technology）和（AIE Institute）共同主办的同行评审完全开放获取期刊，2020 年 12 月创刊，是首份聚焦聚集体科学的期刊，2025 年影响因子为 14.5。

Scope

• It is the first open access journal dedicated to publishing frontier research on aggregate science, which studies how the aggregation of structures changes behaviour at nano, micro, meso and macro scales该刊是首份专注聚集体科学的开放获取期刊，研究结构在纳米、微米、介观与宏观尺度聚集后行为的变化。
• It covers the aggregation of atoms, ions, molecules, oligomers, polymers, clusters, particles, gels, hybrids, composites, cells and pathogens rather than isolated single molecules其覆盖原子、离子、分子、寡聚体、聚合物、团簇、粒子、凝胶、杂化体、复合材料、细胞与病原体的聚集，而非孤立的单个分子。
• Its topics include synthesis, morphology, metal-organic frameworks, chirality, helicity and supramolecular self-assembly其主题包括合成、形貌、金属有机框架、手性、螺旋性与超分子自组装。
• It also covers stimuli-responsive systems, clean energy, luminescence processes, aggregation-induced emission, room-temperature phosphorescence and fluorescent probes还涵盖刺激响应体系、清洁能源、发光过程、聚集诱导发光、室温磷光与荧光探针。
• Biomedical themes include chemical sensing, bioimaging, theranostics, drug delivery and photodynamic and photothermal therapies生物医学主题包括化学传感、生物成像、诊疗一体化、药物递送与光动力及光热治疗。

History

• Its inaugural issue appeared in December 2020 as a journal co-published by South China University of Technology, the AIE Institute and Wiley其创刊号于 2020 年 12 月问世，由（South China University of Technology）、（AIE Institute）与（Wiley）共同出版。
• The founding editorial, titled Aggregology, announced a new journal devoted to aggregate science, or aggregology题为（Aggregology）的创刊社论宣告了一份专注聚集体科学的新刊诞生。^[1]
• Aggregate received its first Journal Impact Factor of 18.8 in the 2023 Journal Citation Reports released in June 2023该刊在 2023 年 6 月发布的（Journal Citation Reports）中获得首个影响因子 18.8。
• It has since ranked in the first quartile of three categories, namely chemistry multidisciplinary, chemistry physical and materials science multidisciplinary此后其在化学多学科、化学物理与材料科学多学科三个类别中均位列第一四分位。
• It is indexed in the Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index, Scopus and the Directory of Open Access Journals该刊被（Web of Science）的（Emerging Sources Citation Index）、（Scopus）与（Directory of Open Access Journals）收录。
• It appears monthly, and by October 2026 it had reached volume 7, issue 10该刊按月出版，至 2026 年 10 月已出至第 7 卷第 10 期。
