History

• The journal was founded in 1978 and was first issued from Amsterdam by Pergamon Press, which was later absorbed into Elsevier该刊创办于1978年，最初由阿姆斯特丹的（Pergamon Press）出版，该社后来并入（Elsevier）。
• It appeared under the title Advances in Engineering Software and Workstations in 1991, a year in which the publisher increased the publication frequency, and it returned to the title Advances in Engineering Software with Volume 14 in 19921991年该刊曾改用（Advances in Engineering Software and Workstations）刊名，出版方同年提高了出版频次；1992年自第14卷起恢复现名（Advances in Engineering Software）。^[1]
