Scope

• The journal publishes original scientific papers on the dynamics, physics and chemistry of the Earth's atmosphere and ocean.刊物发表关于地球大气与海洋动力学、物理与化学的原创科学论文。

History

• Advances in Atmospheric Sciences was launched in 1984 and is published primarily in English out of Beijing.《大气科学进展（英文）》1984 年创刊，以英文在北京出版。
• It is sponsored by the Chinese National Committee for the International Association of Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences and by the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.刊物由国际气象学和大气科学协会中国委员会与中国科学院大气物理研究所主办。
• Originally a quarterly, the journal became bimonthly and moved to monthly publication from 2015.刊物最初为季刊，后改为双月刊，并于 2015 年起改为月刊。
