Advances in Agriculture

Advances in Agriculture is a peer-reviewed, fully open access journal that publishes research on the cultivation of soil and crops and on the rearing of livestock, with its attention on new methods and technologies for improving agricultural processes, increasing yield, conservation and breeding. The title was launched in 2014 by Hindawi in Cairo and is now published by Wiley, one bound volume being issued each year, the 2026 volume being the one in progress. Scope

• The stated remit is original research articles and review articles on the cultivation of soil and crops and the rearing of livestock, with the focus on new methods and technologies for improving agricultural processes, increasing yield, conservation and breeding. Articles that bring new insights into crop and livestock disease and that address relevant health issues are considered as well.设定的范围是刊载土壤与作物栽培以及畜禽养殖方面的原创研究论文与综述，重点关注改进农业流程，提高产量，保护资源与推进育种的新方法与新技术。对作物与畜禽疾病有新见解以及对相关健康问题有论述的文章同样在收稿之列。

• Manuscripts are expected as an editable document with the text and the tables in one file, and the figures are to be supplied at the highest resolution possible, whether embedded in the file or provided separately. • The journal follows a single-anonymized peer review model for the applicable article types, and the reviewers remain anonymous to the authors unless they choose to disclose their identity by signing the report. • To keep the authorship diverse, authors are limited to having three manuscripts under review at any one time, and an author who already has three manuscripts in review has to wait until the review of at least one of them is complete before submitting another. History

• The title was launched in 2014 by Hindawi Publishing Corporation, and the serial record of the international ISSN centre gives the earliest publisher as Nasr City in Cairo with London and New York, describes the issuing body as Hindawi Publishing Corporation and states that the run of the title began with 2014.该刊 2014 年由 Hindawi Publishing Corporation 创刊，国际 ISSN 中心的连续出版物著录把最早出版者记为开罗纳斯尔城，兼及伦敦与纽约，把出版者记为 Hindawi Publishing Corporation，并写明该刊自 2014 年起出版。

• The volume number is the year itself, and the numbers of the articles in each year run from a single issue without interruption, so the volume of 2014 is followed by the volume of 2015 and so on to the volume of 2026. • Hindawi was taken over by Wiley in 2021, and the transfer was a change of platform rather than a change of name, since the title, the two numbers and the article identifiers all continued. • The article identifiers carry the same publisher prefix throughout, the older ones taking the form of a year followed by a number and the newer ones an abbreviation of the title followed by a number, so no new prefix was introduced when the platform changed.
