- It publishes research articles, reviews, progress reports, comments and perspectives under the same article specifications as its parent title, and the themes advertised at its launch were drug delivery systems, cancer therapy, tissue engineering, biosensors and diagnostic tools, personalized medicine, bioelectronics and implantable electronics它按母刊(Advanced Materials)同样的文稿规格刊发研究论文,综述,进展报告,评论与观点文章,创刊时列举的主题是药物递送系统,癌症治疗,组织工程,生物传感器与诊断工具,个性化医疗,生物电子学与可植入电子装置。
History
- Healthcare materials first appeared inside Advanced Materials as a special focus section in 2011, and Wiley brought the subject out as its own journal in January 2012, a step its German imprint and its China office both record in those words医疗材料先是作为(Advanced Materials)2011 年的特别聚焦栏目出现,(Wiley)于 2012 年 1 月将其独立成刊,其德国出版品牌与中国办公室的说明均如此记载。
- The first volume opened with papers that had been released online in the last months of 2011, among them the volume 1 review of electrospun nanofibers for regenerative medicine that ran to sixteen pages第 1 卷的开卷文章多在此前一年的年末数月已在线发布,其中包括第 1 卷关于静电纺纳米纤维用于再生医学的长篇综述。[1]
- As a new title it was given away rather than sold at first, since its science papers were free to all readers until the end of 2013 under the publisher's new journal arrangement作为新刊它在头几年先以免费方式推广,其科学论文在出版方的新刊安排下向所有读者免费开放至 2013 年底。
- It carries two identifiers, the print number 2192-2640 and the electronic number 2192-2659, and its output grew quickly from eighteen issues in 2018 to thirty-two numbered issues in 2024, when the year was bound as volumes 13 and 14它有两个编号,印刷号 2192-2640 与电子号 2192-2659,产量增长迅速,2018 年为十八期,2024 年已达三十二期,该年并为第 13 与第 14 两卷。
- In 2012 it joined a virtual special issue edited together with the biotechnology title of the same publisher, Biotechnology Journal, then edited by the professors Alois Jungbauer and Sang Yup Lee, marking from the start that the new journal was meant to sit between materials science and the life sciences2012 年,它与同一出版方的生物技术期刊(Biotechnology Journal)联合编撰了一辑虚拟特刊,该刊当时由(Alois Jungbauer)与(Sang Yup Lee)两位教授共同编辑,这从创刊之初便标明新刊要立于材料科学与生命科学之间。
- Its recorded journal impact factors run 9.933 for the 2021 edition, 11.092 for 2022, 9.6 for 2024 and 11.0 for 2025, and it is listed in the three Science Citation Index Expanded categories of materials science biomaterials, engineering biomedical and nanoscience and nanotechnology其影响因子记录为 2021 年版 9.933,2022 年版 11.092,2024 年版 9.6 与 2025 年版 11.0,并被列入(Science Citation Index Expanded)的材料学生物材料,生物医学工程与纳米科技三个学科。
Editors
- The editor-in-chief is Dr Uta Goebel of Wiley, who took on the position in 2019 after moving to the materials and physics team in 2015, who joined the company in 2009 as an editor of Biotechnology Journal and who holds a doctorate from the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg for work on tumor models, cell death and immunology主编为(Wiley)的(Uta Goebel)博士,她于 2015 年转入材料与物理团队并于 2019 年出任主编,2009 年加入公司时担任(Biotechnology Journal)编辑,其博士学历来自海德堡的(German Cancer Research Center),课题为肿瘤模型,细胞死亡与免疫学。
- She is one of the staff editors who carry the Advanced portfolio together, serving also on Advanced Biosystems and Advanced Functional Materials, which reflects how the family shares editorial labour across its titles她是共同承担(Advanced)期刊家族工作的职业编辑之一,同时负责(Advanced Biosystems)与(Advanced Functional Materials),这正体现该家族在各刊之间共享编辑力量。
- The deputy editors named by the publisher include Dr Irem Bayindir-Buchhalter, a doctorate holder of Heidelberg University and the German Cancer Research Center who has edited the title since 2019, and Dr Emily Hu, who earned her doctorate at the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, worked on nanomaterial drug delivery in Seattle and has been a deputy editor here since 2017出版方点名的副主编包括(Irem Bayindir-Buchhalter)博士,她获海德堡大学与(German Cancer Research Center)的博士学位,自 2019 年起任该刊编辑,以及(Emily Hu)博士,她在(Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry)取得博士学位,曾在西雅图从事纳米材料药物递送研究,自 2017 年起任副主编。
- Editing is done by such in-house professional scientists rather than by an unpaid academic desk, while the wider guidance comes from an executive advisory board that has included Younan Xia, who wrote editorials for the journal until 2022日常编辑由这类内部职业科学家承担,而非无薪的学界岗位,更宏观的指导则来自执行顾问委员会,其中包含(Younan Xia),他曾为该刊撰写编者文章至 2022 年。[2]
- Editorial correspondence goes to the journal mailbox at the publisher's German house in Weinheim, submissions are handled online through the publisher's Editorial Manager system under the short code advhealthmat, and the citation record for the imprint points to the company's New Jersey office in Hoboken编辑通信寄往出版方位于(Weinheim)的德国工作室所设的期刊邮箱(advhealthmat@wiley-vch.de),来稿经出版方的(Editorial Manager)系统以代号(advhealthmat)在线处理,而引文记录所指的出版机构地址为新泽西州的(Hoboken)办公室。
