History
- Founded in 1925 by Tadeusz Banachiewicz, who was director of the Kraków Observatory from 1919 to 1954该刊 1925 年由 Tadeusz Banachiewicz 创办,他于 1919 至 1954 年任克拉科夫天文台台长。
- It appeared at first as series A, B and C, which were later united into a single Acta Astronomica with continuous volume numbering from 1951创刊初期以 A、B、C 分辑出版,后合并为统一的(Acta Astronomica),自 1951 年起连续编卷。
- It was published early on by the Committee of Astronomy of the Polish Academy of Sciences and is now published by the Copernicus Foundation for Polish Astronomy, with its editorial office at the Astronomical Observatory of the University of Warsaw早期由波兰科学院天文委员会出版,现由哥白尼波兰天文学基金会出版,编辑部设于华沙大学天文台。
- It is a quarterly journal, with four issues in each annual volume该刊为季刊,每卷四期。
- It is a subscription journal, yet the electronic full texts are freely downloadable, and its papers carry digital object identifiers under the journal's own prefix rather than being registered with Crossref该刊为订阅制期刊,但电子全文可免费下载;论文数字对象标识符采用该刊自有前缀,不经 Crossref 注册。
- The years 2016 to 2018 formed a high plateau of impact factors at 3.043, 3.667 and 2.640, after which the value fell to 0.6 in 2024 and recovered to 1.4 in 20252016 至 2018 年为影响因子的高位期,分别为 3.043、3.667 与 2.640,其后回落至 2024 年的 0.6,2025 年回升至 1.4。[1]
Editors
- The editors-in-chief are Michał Jaroszyński and Andrzej Udalski, both of the Astronomical Observatory of the University of Warsaw现任主编为(Michał Jaroszyński)与 Andrzej Udalski,均任职于华沙大学天文台。
- Michał Jaroszyński is professor emeritus working on binary and interacting binary stars, stellar evolution and gravitation, and serves as chairman of the publishing foundation(Michał Jaroszyński)为荣休教授,研究双星与相互作用双星、恒星演化与引力作用,并任出版基金会的理事长。
- Andrzej Udalski leads the Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment and works on microlensing, variable stars, the Magellanic Clouds and exoplanetsAndrzej Udalski 为光学引力透镜实验项目负责人,研究微引力透镜、变星、麦哲伦云与系外行星。
- The journal lists one associate editor and does not publish its full editorial board or its size on the official site该刊官网仅列一名副编辑,未公布完整编委名单与规模。
- It is a peer-reviewed journal, and manuscripts may be submitted by electronic mail or uploaded to an anonymous file transfer directory, with a PostScript or PDF version required该刊采用同行评审,稿件可经电子邮件或匿名文件传输目录提交,须随附 PostScript 或 PDF 版本。
- Texts are encouraged to use the journal's own LaTeX class file, and graphics are accepted only in PostScript format, while references must follow the journal's style with IAU journal abbreviations正文鼓励使用该刊自带的 LaTeX 文档类,图件仅接收 PostScript 格式,参考文献须按该刊样式并使用国际天文联合会刊名缩写。
