ACS Central Science
ACS Central Science (commonly abbreviated as ACS Cent. Sci.) is the American Chemical Society's first fully open access journal. Scope
- Scope: a multi- and interdisciplinary journal of exceptional quality and interest to the broad chemistry and scientific community, addressing important advances in fundamental chemistry as well as applied and interdisciplinary research and highlighting the seminal role of chemistry in a wide range of other scientific disciplines.学科定位： 多学科交叉刊，面向整个化学与科学共同体，发表化学基础及应用交叉领域的重要进展，凸显化学在其他科学学科中的基石作用。[2]

History
- Founded: launched in March 2015 as the capstone of the society's open access programmes and positioned as a vanguard journal.创刊： 2015 年 3 月创刊，是学会开放获取计划的旗舰，被定位为旗舰前沿期刊。
- Founding editor: the journal was founded under the leadership of Carolyn R. Bertozzi, recipient of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.创刊主编： 由 2022 年诺贝尔化学奖得主 Carolyn R. Bertozzi 领衔创刊。[4]
