Scope

• The journal is interdisciplinary by design, publishing original research in which an electronic material is the object of study rather than a tool该刊在定位上即是一门跨学科期刊，所发表的原创研究把电子材料本身作为研究对象，而不是把它当作工具，材料在其中的分量由此变得清楚。

History

• The journal was launched in January 2019 as the fifth new title in the ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces family, which had been opened up a few years earlier to give applied materials research a home of its own该刊于 2019 年 1 月创办，是《ACS 应用材料与界面》系列的第五本新刊，这一系列在数年前才开设，为应用材料研究提供了独立的发表平台。
