AAPG Bulletin

The AAPG Bulletin is the flagship peer-reviewed journal of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, first published in 1917 and known by its present title since 1974, covering petroleum geology and energy geoscience, with an impact factor of 2.7 shown on its publisher page（AAPG Bulletin，简称 AAPG Bull.）是美国石油地质学家协会的旗舰同行评审期刊，1917 年创刊，1974 年起用现名，聚焦石油地质与能源地球科学，出版方托管页显示的影响因子为 2.7。

Scope

• Basin analysis and stratigraphy, depositional systems and sequence stratigraphy盆地分析与地层学、沉积体系与层序地层。

History

• Founded in 1917 as the Bulletin of the Southwestern Association of Petroleum Geologists, it took the name Bulletin of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists in 1918 when that association became the AAPG, and was renamed AAPG Bulletin from volume 58 in 1974 with continuous volume numbering该刊 1917 年以（Bulletin of the Southwestern Association of Petroleum Geologists）创刊，1918 年随西南石油地质学家协会改组为美国石油地质学家协会而更名，1974 年第 58 卷起改为现名，卷号连续。^[1]

Editors

• The editor is Daniel Minisini, a geologist at ExxonMobil in Houston and an instructor and adjunct professor at Rice University, whose field is sedimentology and sequence stratigraphy现任主编 Daniel Minisini，埃克森美孚休斯敦地质学家，兼任莱斯大学讲师与兼职教授，研究方向为沉积学与层序地层学。
• The team comprises six senior associate editors and about twenty-four associate editors from the United States, China, Italy, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Scotland, Canada and Spain编辑团队含六名资深副编辑与约二十四名副编辑，来自美国、中国、意大利、巴西、英国、苏格兰、加拿大与西班牙等地。
